MANILA, Philippines – Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno's lawyers are confident that the allegations of non-disclosure of assets will not stand, as she faces an impeachment complaint in the House of Representatives.
Sereno's lawyers also downplay the oppositions made against her by fellow justices inside the Supreme Court (SC). Her spokesperson Carlo Cruz says the oppositions just mean that the collegial body is doing its job.
